Drawing with Thread - Debbie Smyth

I'm a big fan of UK textile artist Debbie Smyth's work and eagerly awaited her latest project 'Drawing with Thread'. Using just thread and pins I find it fascinating to watch how Debbie shows both the process and progress for creating her distinctive plotting, pinning and threading drawing style. 'Drawing with Thread' is at the Shire Hall Gallery, Stafford until 23 April.

What an amazing display of artwork. I love the way she constructs the 'landscape' through the tacks & threads, giving a sketch feel about it.
